Stages of Selection<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n

1. Written Exam<\/td>\n5 papers with the total 200 marks as shown below –\n
    \n\t
  1. Reasoning \u2013 50<\/li>\n\t
  2. English Language \u2013 40<\/li>\n\t
  3. Quantitative Aptitude \u2013 50<\/li>\n\t
  4. General Awareness \u2013 40<\/li>\n\t
  5. Computer Knowledge \u2013 20<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nAdditional points to note –\n
      \n\t
    • Total 2 hours is given for answering 5 papers<\/li>\n\t
    • General Awareness is with reference to Banking Industry<\/li>\n\t
    • There is 0.25 negative marks per incorrect answer<\/li>\n\t
    • IPBS is moving towards conducting the examination online<\/li>\n\t
    • Candidates will need to achieve minimum score per paper and minimum total score for getting shortlisted for the next stage \u2013 the interview<\/li>\n\t
    • It is interesting to note that IBPS has done away with \u2018Descriptive Paper on English Composition\u2019 which required essay-type responses, potentially due to the move to gradually move to online-only exam format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2. Interview<\/td>\nCandidates passing the Written Exam will be shortlisted for interview conducted by the Participating Organisations. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3. Allotment<\/td>\nOn completion of the Interview process, depending upon the vacancies available, candidates will be allotted to one of the participating organisations. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Many books are available in book stores for as low as Rs. 200\/- to Rs. 550\/-. These provide excellent input to those candidates who can prepare on their own.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
